General Information

Making a booking

When making a booking it is best to contact the site first of all. By doing this, you will be able to check availability, make a reservation and discuss any deposit required. As confirmation of the booking we require a completed booking form (available as part of our brochure on our Downloads page) and a deposit.

Booking In

When you arrive on site, please report to reception.

Vehicles are allowed to buildings and along the tracks by the site to unload large amounts of equipment. They then need to be parked on the designated car park for the remainder of the stay.

Activities

All activities start from behind the office.

Site Shop

Shop times are displayed in the shop window. The shop can be opened if a whole group requires it out of these usual times, where sufficient staff are available.

Shopping and Food Storage

Some groups choose to have food delivered by supermarkets. All major supermarkets deliver to the site. We require that there is someone on site to receive the deliveries.

If using a building, food can be stored in the kitchens in the fridge, freezer or on shelves.

We cannot store food for campers, but we do provide facilities to re-freeze ice blocks.

Mobile Telephones

Mobile telephones, and other rechargable battery devices can be charged in reception. There is a cost of 50p for this service, and you will need to provide your own charger.

Rubbish and Recycling

As a site we recycle cardboard, aluminium cans, soft plastics and glass. Recycling bins and general rubbish bins are situated at camp centre.
