Rafting

This activity takes place at the Lily Pond towards the north of the site. The group selects the required equipment from Camp Centre, and this is transported to the Lily Pond. The group then builds a raft or rafts that will float across the pond. The aim is to get across without the raft falling apart.

The Lily Pond has recently been dredged, and is now bigger and a bit deeper than before, which goes towards making the experience even better.

• Minimum Age: 8 years
• Maximum Group Number: 12+
• Session Length: Half a day
  
• Safety rules and equipment including buoyancy aids provided before use
  
• Develops cooperation and teamwork.
